In this video we will demonstrate how we removed and replaced the fuel pump on 2007 Chrysler Sebring. It should be the same procedure for the models from 2007-2010.
It is not very comlicated procedure and it will not take you long if everything goes good. The fuel pump lid tends to get pretty stuck sometime. Make sure you do not hit on the fuel tank with a screwdriver because you will punch a hole in the tank.

  2. EVERYONE CONSIDERING THIS REPAIR!!! Before you put a new fuel pump in this car, be sure that your TIPM isn't faulty (the reason for difficulty starting, and eventually the fuel pump relay being stuck on and the fuel pump burning itself out at park when you aren't expecting it). You're new fuel pump will only work and last if your TIPM is working, which it's probably already failed if your pump is burned out. Dang Chryslers…

  3. Bet that whole car smelled of gas. U guys should have been better prepared and clean as you go. Id be pissed if i paid you. But you got the job done. Nice work.

  4. Good video. I only have a few suggestions. 1 use a brass punch to remove the fuel pump locking cap, that way no spark and KABOOM! 2 cycle the key 3 times to prime the system and will start right up. Nice video!
