Awesome Review: Ford Edge 2018 SUV in-depth review | Mat Watson Reviews

The Ford Edge is an all-American SUV that’s recently gone on sale in the UK for the very first time. It’s huge and rivals cars such as the Jaguar F-Pace and Land Rover Discovery Sport – but can it outdo both cars in terms of value for money? There’s no doubting the Ford Edge has incredible road presence and bold looks, but does its interior suffer from quantity over quality? There’s a lot of room in there, but is it all a bit low-tech? Find out as I share all my thoughts on the Ford Edge in this 4k video review.

  1. This review is just more proof on why the Sun did indeed set on the British "Empire" so many, many years ago-grins-the home of British Leyland and the horrid TR7 really has nothing more to contribute to motoring

  2. Starts at £30,000, ridiculous money. In Canada it starts at $31,999 which is around £18,000. The UK market suffers really badly when things are converted. Why is it that everything that crosses the pond is massively inflated we always get charged the same in pounds as americans/canadians do in dollars and on that I basis I try to avoid buying anything that has come from America as you are just being ripped off by franchises. Its a joke and it needs addressing. I'd rather buy European or Asian as prices are fairer. When you consider that a Peugeot 308 costs just £21,000 and is cheaper than it is in Europe due to the exchange rate by about £1000 I'd question the sanity of anyone buying an American car in the UK (not new anyway)

  3. This is a rip-off in the UK! Pricing here in the US starts at the equivalent of 21,000 pounds. At 33k, you should be getting a loaded sport model!

This a a high volume seller in the US, but certainly not worth Land Rover money. Why did Ford even bother?

  4. Well in CH you get one for 29000 and it bearly made any 12k KM where a Range Rover even the lowest one costs about 48000 and a Merc GLE you can't get under 78000 with the same year and optionals, i'm gonna get my self one next year and prob tune it up from the standart 210hp/400nm to 290hp and 500nm for less than 1k so it goes from 0-100 at least in 7,9sec instead of 9,6sec

  5. Desperately needs a six cylinder diesel for the Euro market…. exterior styling is muscular and handsome but interior looks utter shite, cheap and well dated….. overpriced too.

  6. The things at the back of the car labeled L and R are marked as such so if you remove them it'll be easy to figure out which goes where. They're both kind of shaped similarly so people might get confused. But that it's really hard though because you'd have to be pretty dumb not to figure it out quickly, but still, it's a nice touch.
