Car Ride:Citroen C4 Picasso International launch

Citroen have launched what might be the best people carrier on the market. The new C4 Picasso is here and Bob drove it somewhere in Germany or Austria we aren’t sure.

  1. Hi Bob, love your videos. I bought the car (Grand Picasso Exclusive+ 2.0 HDI manual) and while its nice to drive and look at , the reliability of the technology, usability of controls, mechanical and engine build have been poor in my experience. I get regular engine faults, it has been at the garage too many times for such a new car and now the keyless entry won't work and theres fluid on my drive, again. It might be a great car design and I would like to think that it deserves to be successful, but the one I bought was not put together well. Maybe its not not practical but it would be a nice touch to review some of your earlier videos 3-5 years after a car was initially launched to reevaluate any initial perceptions good or bad.

  2. Bob does this starship Enterprise have a Warp drive? πŸ™‚
That` d be nice. No emissions and endless torque & BHP πŸ™‚

OK on the serious side. At 1st I didn`t like the styling. Certainly not love at 1st site like it was for example with the C5 II DS3 or DS4 But I`m starting to like it. I`d like to have more buttons inside & fixed hub steering wheel but everyone is moving into direction of touchscreens – less buttons. I`d like leather on the dashboard like in previous one but I like it all the same.

  3. Bob,
I have followed all your videos pretty much from the start and enjoy them. You're in my "Favourites"! and I did not intend to offend you.
A lot of what is shown in the first minute and of the interior is not of your drive but has the look of Citroen material and the dialogue sounds like Citroen press blurb.I would like to have seen you in the three rows, opening the cubbies, pulling and dragging etc. generally showing us the car you were in.
BTW Citroen.ie or UK have no prices up

  4. Did you watch the video? There's over a min of it just showing the interior. The other stuff your asking for can be seen at any Citroen dealer.
Would you like me to google the rest of the info or should I just show you citroen.ie or citroen.co.uk for prices.
The videos are watched by an international audience and hence prices vary so I just don't mention them unless the price is out of whack

  5. This is a poor video. You show us nothing of the interior, seating permutations, storage, boot space etc. surely the raison d'etre of an mpv.
Also there is no mention of engine range, gearbox options or probable pricing.
I know its not a full review but still could have given more…

  6. Nice to hear that there is someone who understands different cars and doesn't expect every car to be a "rock hard suspension" sports car (read: usually German cars). I agree with you, this car has a ride comfort that is luxurious and makes you feel like driving a big Mercedes. I like cars with semi-hard chassis but this one changed my mind how I'm going to judge cars in the future. Nice work Citroen! This is what "premium" should be about, in my opinion.
