  1. The manual may feel better but if you actually MEASURE the seconds they take to go from 0 to 100 kmh, you'll find that the CVT reaches 100 kmh faster. And it gets a lot better fuel mileage. What you feel in the manual is an Illusion of better acceleration. Don't take my word for it, make the measurements.

  2. Thanks for let us know about the CVT, but I think for not a driving enthuziast (maybe womens) should consider the CVT and those who don't want to hear revin it hi they can put in manual mode and use those 7 simulated gears. Honda use the CVT gearbox becouse it made the car more economical for those who don't know how to drive economical (90% of the drivers). I wait for the full review!

  3. Good advice given fairly. Not a fan of minis – super or otherwise but this should be a must watch for anyone in the market for a Honda Jazz. However, I don't know if it was a problem with processing ready for YouTube but there are almost 2 minutes of blank screen at the end and that's not going to encourage potential viewers.

  4. There's no doubt that the manual is more fun to drive but what's with the last 1.5 minutes of dead screen? You also had something, which was supposed to be ongoing, where you'd interview others (I only saw 1 video) driving cars. What happened to that? How about co-workers or family members/ they should have interesting stories.

  5. bob you make better videos than this! you made one point in the whole vid (ie cvt is crap) and like 2mins at the end were black screen?!
nb: i have a soft spot for the new jazz. it looks cool

  6. I honestly don't understand why manufacturers use CVT gearboxes. They annoy me so much and kind of ruin the whole experience of the car, especially because of the whiny noise that the gearbox makes and the sluggish feel and lack of urgency. Just use a double clutch or even just a conventional torque converter please!
