Car Ride:Volvo V90 Cross Country 2017 review

Decided to have a big look at the V90 CC as this Volvo is really up for 2017 driving so here’s a review. There’s also a bit of car spotting at the end.

  1. Great video Bob, I am now convinced this is the car for me !! I have been torn between the XC60 and this !! but other test drivers have said similar things to you ! I am only a little concerned about entry to the front seats !! sounds stupid perhaps, but I have a V70 P2 and it is so low slung that my mrs has banged her head countless times on the roof line !! bless her, so I have said that we will get a car that you "Get into" rather than "drop down into" so being a Volvo fan it has to be something with easier access, how did you find access to the front seats Bob ? do you still have to duck to enter ? despite it's extra ride height ? I seem to remember watching an earlier video of yours regarding the Mk 2 XC60, and you said it was a great car !!! I was considering one of these as an alternative too !!

  2. Thats brilliant, I don't remember it but my parents often recall how I used to also be able to tell an oncoming car at night by the shape of the light coming! ha

  3. Saw one in the flesh today, brand new at the dealership. It's such a gorgeous design and what I appreciate most is how different it looks from the usual German executive cars. But I would have to ask why would you go with this over the XC90 even though that one is more expensive.
And those seats, oh my lord. If the heating controls would be separate I have to say that it's damn near perfect. Good vid Bob!

  4. Very nice in depth review there Bob and a lovely looking car. That white interior though you would have to wonder how it will wear? Nice a fresh now but who will want it in 5 years when its grubby and old before its time.
