  1. Just bought my friend's pristine and dealer maintained 2013 Lexus GX with 141,000+ miles for $18k earlier today. I also own a 2018 LX570. I've been buying Toyota's for the past 3 decades and I ALWAYS buy them new and run them for 10 years and either sell them with 30% residual value or keep them. Lexus is no different. Still own a 97 4Runner. 300,000 miles is routine for these Yota/Lexus SUVs. Reason enough why I buy them and not lease them.

  2. The Lexus will be running strong when the MB will be falling apart. When the warranty expires you’ll need to remortgage the farm to pay for MB repairs. THE BEST OR NOTHING!! lol.

  3. Ml 350 Bluetec towing 30 ft Rv trailer for 10,000 miles…it humiliates a lot of…”trucks”. Getting a GL now because a moose took it away from me. Kids protected, moose dead. It’s not just luxury…it is German Engineering. Oh, and I wouldn’t get anything else than DIESEL.

  4. Did he just call the Lexus GX the past….more like past presidents and future….try saying that about ur German clunker let me know when u get 300,000+ KM with no issues……go ahead I'll wait

  5. Sell the Mercedes. Reliability and longevity is the key to vehicle ownership. I had a MB GL350 and was in repair shop average 5 days each month for "warranty" paid repairs. But it really gets old waiting for your car… Even with a loan vehicle . Buy the Lexus.

  6. The Biggest difference really is in reliability performance, maintenance and the last but not least. RESALE VALUE. LEXUS will hold it's price , while Merc take steep hits on price.
