  1. i live around alot of old coal dirt roads, my mom has a 2015 4-c but it does 0-60 in 7.9 at best. i can even drift it on dirt roads which is fun but probably not the best idea

  2. I wonder how Motor Trend got a 0-60 mph time of 7.1 seconds on their test, yet the best they can get is 7.44 seconds. They do it from a dead stop as well at sea level. Is it because the equipment in the Impala that they have makes it 0.34 seconds slower? I like these guys but their 0-60 times you have to subtract it seems a third of a second from what they state (and more when in Colorado). At least if you live near sea level.

  3. The paddle shift on my 2012 is on the steering wheel, on the left. Not bad as long as you don't have the steering wheel turned. I would much rather have it on the gear shift. JMO Torque Steer on my car is Horrid!

    Thanks for your time:))

  4. Why is the impala in your video so slow? I'm at 4600 feet with 31,000+ miles on my 15' LT and it will spin the stock tires up to 30 mph and do 0-60 in under 7 easy. Not sure why this one is so slow.

  5. You guys are WAAAY off. This is my daily driver, and once the car shifts to your driving style the shifts are MUCH quicker! Did you hit the pedal all the way down and start in 1st? I could have bested your time all day long! LOL Even with traction control my tires break loose in 1st from a dead stop and skip pavement from 1st to 2nd!

  6. You guys have good videos but are always way off in your acceleration times, even there in California at sea level. C&D tested this car they got 6.0s 0-60, MT got 6.2s.

  7. My 2010 impala 3.5 goes 0 to 60 in about 10 seconds. It had so little torque it's impossible to spin the tires off a launch. It has quite a bit of power however at higher rpms and 2nd gear lasts until 55 mph.

  8. My wife has one of these LTZ's and I have to say its a really nice car and surprisingly quick! I believe his numbers are a little low. Come spring I will take this to the track and prove it. The car rides good and highway passing is amazing! This coming from a pure bred MOPAR man! We have a SRT Challenger and chose this over the 300 and the Charger due to the styling, its the fastest of the bunch, (in the same V-6 configuration) and the room inside is unbelievable. With three kids we can fit two hockey bags in the trunk with sticks and comfortably fit 5 adults let alone 2 adults and 3 kids. I am impressed! Don't get me wrong, I would never chose a Camaro or Mustang over my Challenger just on looks alone, but this Impala is a beautiful car and serves its purpose with style! And yes with traction control off this car will bake the front tires!!! My Challenger runs 0-60 in 4.1, I'd bet the Impala is in the low 6,s anyway.

  9. @chasewhodat the impalas since 2012 have had the 3.6l v6 in them from the camaro the camaro pushes 323hp from flywheel and the impala is 305hp due to pcm programming

But the impala has more dynoed hp at the wheels then the camaro due to loss in rwd drive train

  10. WTF… My mercedes ML430 moves quicker than that.
Chevy geared this thing WAAAYY too high for the amount of torque it has and at higher RPM
At what altitude did you shoot this?

  11. yeah, I was surprised by how slow the time was as well…

has to be the 2LT or 2LTZ for the 305hp but I wasnt able to spot the model on the back of it in the video
