  1. Straight roofline, rugged appearance, and looks like a stout vehicle. However, its small, and it needs a V-6. Jeep has a nasty habit of adding ESS to every V-6 because they can't make a fuel efficient V6 without crippling it in annoying fashion. Again make it twice as big and add a V-6. No the Journey sucks, all over, and the Durango is quirky with the shift dial knob, the older zig zag shifter was crap also, old fashioned parking break, and abysmal approach angle (chin spoiler).

  2. Every time I see the Jeep Renegade, I keep thinking of Eminem and Jay-Z's song "Renegade." You guys also got a subscriber, I love all your videos. Some are hilarious as hell, as when Roman got the Raptor stuck in the snow and was so close to hitting the tree. 😀

  3. Looks like it got stuck exact same place as the nissan with cvt until you started to turn steering wheel back and forth it then started to wiggle its way on up. You didn't do anything with the nissan as far as turning steering wheel back and forth. You just stopped and called it a piece of shit. Funny how you can paint a picture that's not necessarily true. If you had tried with the nissan and turned wheel back and forth, I'm sure it would've been able to make it too but you didn't want that.

  4. You guys in USA, you need to stop using gasoline engines on SUVs. You need to start using diesel. You are losing so much torque which you can get from even smaller engines. The 2.0lt diesel engine in Renegade has 350Nm of torque, much more than the 2.4lt gasoline with 232Nm. With diesel engines you are winning in torque and in fuel consumption.

  5. In the fall of 2017 I purchased a new 2017 Jeep Renegade from a dealer in Anchorage Alaska. I live in a remote Alaskan town with the closest mechanic over 100 miles away – in Canada. I made it clear to the dealer I needed a reliable, sturdy vehicle. The car was fine until the temperature dropped below 20F then it would start – and immediately stall with a noticeable smell of gas. I called the dealer and he recommended using Heet and blamed the bad gas in the town. Heet did nothing and no other car is having the same problem. The dealer is over 700 miles away and I can't have the car towed back. There's no one to work on it here and the dealer is unwilling to do anything more. The car is a princess car – it'll only run if it's warm and sunny. Which means i'm walking to work at 20 below. Moral is don't buy Jeep and don't buy a Jeep Renegade. As soon as possible I'm taking it to another town to trade it in for a Japanese or Korean car. Something reliable.

  6. You really put that car in rock mode to go on that trail that trail looks like the trail that I take my Renegade on to go to the actual Trail to go off-roading

  7. been driving 4x4s since I was 12 years old I am 61 now this Jeep keeps surprising me it goes were most will not it's not a Subaru ! I have had both now the Subaru is a great car but it's not an off the road car ! the Jeep renegade trailhawk is!

  8. Low-range gearing would go a long way in giving this vehicle more power for climbing obstacles. The Renegade runs out of power quickly on hills with relatively flat terrain.

  9. This vehicle is not perfect, but living in VERY hilly country with snow, the WIFE loves this little renegade. We live out in the country 10 miles from a big city with tiny parking spots, so its the best of both worlds!! I have a 14' Ram 1500 but I also work right outside of the city so it is perfect for me. Between my RAM truck and the Renegade we are on the bandwagon!

  10. This is fast enough for what it is. A good car in the snow and off road if needed. I guarantee I will beat a Mustang GT in 8 inches of snow, just sayin.
