Why no “N” version?
just to tell all my family have hyundai because they love hyundai good job making nice cars thank you for making them
How is this guy a car reviewer and don't know how to pronounce Hyundai properly?
Hyundai is really stepping up their game AGAIN!!! The new products keep rolling!!
Stop paying with this car and bring the N model as well. Don’t play it down for what it’s capable of the US markets ready for fresh idea and the N model will do Hyundai well with the 275HP.
I just traded in my 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T for this and I seriously could not be happier! This car handles and drives like nothing hyundai has ever put out before for a sub compact car. No more torsion beam rear suspension! It now (for the gt models) has an all wheel independent suspension. The stock exhaust sounds amazing for what it is, i have a video on it if anyone is curious.
So its confirmed. The turbo edition with manual transmission DOES NOT get the panoramic sunroof package. Only on the automatic. Such hate towards manual drivers. Yea auto is better and quicker but some of us just want a manual with all the package. Oh well, might as well get a older veloster turbo model with manual and pano roof.
Camera man sucks!
Why is this 201 hp 'estimated' and not factual?
BOO. BOO
I hope the Sport sounds as good as the sedan
This guy interrupts the rep throughout the whole video. Annoying.
Finally a hatch without too much slope in the rear! Looks great and should prove to be very practical.
You can see it in Roman's enthusiasm (and the cars themselves) . . . Hyundai is starting give really good car brands, like Mazda, headaches!
They put the screen on top of dash just like Mazda and Mercedes did years ago. I like it,keeps your eyes on the road.
I just checked the Hyundai website and the 2018 Hyundai Elantra sport is still not listed for sale. It is summer and civic si has arrived at the dealer lots and 2018 wrx is coming out in July. Would love to test all three of them and make a pick. Hatch>sedan for me but love Honda and Subaru.
"Very European" come on guys. We are past the stage where people have to stop making it look like European > Everything else.
Where's the flat bottom steering wheel, and the sport logo on the headrests ?
Can it compete with the new Civic? The new civic's standard equipments are more than any competitors and the performance response is great.
i feel like trading in my Veloster Turbo now
Hyundai rhymes with Sunday
I'll definitely be cross shopping this and the mazda3 hatch
Even though I'm Australian I like your informative reviews. So I have subscribed!
Looks like the GTI, but 10 times more reliable!
Will roof rails be available ?
A rebadged VW GTI.
Pffftt… Kia has had this car in the USDM market since 2014. It's called the Forte5 and it's a much better vehicle
Dude looks like a villain from the hunger games with that hair…
Power to the manual 6 speeds!
I don't remember hearing it in the video, but did he say the manual with the sport model would have auto hold or some sort of hill start assist since they don't provide a traditional handbrake?
…"The Traditional 3 Pedal"… Well Said!
Why the hell aren't some of the features from the GT offered on the sedan
Design copy paste from Peugeot 308 ( 2014)…and grill and interior from Audi…
why don't you add i30cw. Bigger back space in i30cw for families with kids. It looks better than many suv and it look like suv. thanks
I hope they remove that tumor of a screen and embed it in the actual dash before they release the car.
I own a 2016 gt and i do have to say i love that car. But looking at this new version of the car. Its a Mazdaspeed 3 rip off. I liked that the GT was different from the other hatches it was those differences that made the difference in by i decided on the GT. I dont like the fact that the power has dropped from 176 to 160 something and the 1.8t is out of …..the name it escapes me at the moment. I would have not bought this car. Guess im glade i bought when i did. Oh 2016 6 speed manual GT keeps up with wrx but i dont think the new one could do that. Its a shame what they did to the car.
The current Elentra GT looks 100x better than this :p
I'm a big fan of hatchbacks and this looks pretty good. Good job Hyundai.
I swear to God, Hyundai is going to take over the market one day.
I worry about long-term reliability of the Hyundai dual clutch transmission, especially considering the recall of the 2016 Tucson 1.6 turbo and 7 speed dual clutch.
Hyundai rhymes with Sunday.
Pretty cool hatch
I prefer a sporty hatch. This is more like an SUV.
What happened to the 2.0l Nu engine producing 174bhp?
Style-wise, I still like the look of the 2014 version more. Felt like it had its own look back then. Now it just looks like a copy and paste of the more known hatchbacks…
This or 2017 Mazda 3 hatchback?
No flat-bottom steering wheel on the gt sport? Big miss on that one.
Is this longer than civic hatch?
