Awesome fast car review: Classics Revealed: The 1984 Aston Martin Lagonda rides again

( ) The 1984 Aston Martin Lagonda is the car that helped save the company. As the story goes potential customers had to put down a $10,000 deposit to order the car this funding the company at a time when it was close to bankruptcy. The Lagonda is also a very rare car. Just under 650 were built from 1976 to 1990 and many of those ended up in the Middle East. Only 100 cars were imported into the United States and this one is a rare survivor. Check it out as we take it for a spin in another Classics Revealed video review.

  1. I remember these back in the day. We all thought it was cool but for the older rich guy. The back still looks good though. I always had a Lotus Esprit on my wall, which also had the straight lines.

  2. It looks like an early concept drawing for what would evolve into the 1977 Chevy Caprice. I like the '77-79 Caprice, but this…is clearly the rough draft.

  3. Perhaps if more had been produced, the incentive would be there to retro-fit a newly designed and improved electronic display system that is modern and cool, but no one seems to have done this yet.

This car can be made to look and feel super nice with some funky mods by someone (in California?) who does these kinds of things.
