  1. I think manual cars are better (funner to drive) but everyone on here that thinks the manual is better and faster than an auto that can shift in 10ths of a second clearly can afford to drive either and probably never have.

  2. modern day automatic transmissions will beat a manual 99% of the time. the only reason I drive a manual is because I watch initial D and my car is from 1985, when automatic transmissions were just basic accomodations for people who didnt know how to drive manual and were not so finely tuned to perfection like they are now

  3. Honestly dk the point of this video lol. Most obvious outcome ever. Almost any performance car auto vs manual on a track the auto will win…. BUT WHO ACTUALLY HAD MORE FUN THOOOOO lmaooo. The auto was fast, thats cool. If u care for lap times more power toooo ya. The guy in the white cat knows where the real fun is at

  4. Automatics started showing up in Mopar cars on the drag strips in the 60s and proved that well designed automatics with proper gearing and internals were equal to or better than similar manuals.
