Awesome Hot Wheels Review: 400 WHP 2JZ Swapped Datsun 260Z Rat Rod – One Take

This car looks sketchy and dangerous. There are no side windows at all, and shards of glass clank about the cabin when cornering. There is rust, very little paint, and the racing harnesses don’t fit right. But underneath that is an incredibly sorted performance car. It’s been widened (by the axles, the correct way), and under the hood lives a twin-turbo Toyota 2JZ engine making almost 400 WHP. It doesn’t look like much, but it drives unbelievably well. We may have a new “Zero Fucks Given” champion.

  1. 400whp doesnt seem like much but it still is people. I know theres 2000hp 2JZs out there. Its also quite easy to achieve. More Boost, More Fuel = HP, so getting to 400 is quite simple, reliable, and cheap. My buddy has a 1JZ 2nd gen Supra that was cheap to get past 400whp. He mainly got bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, and upped his boost and got a tune for it. The stock internals can handle a shit ton of power

  2. The fact you turned off the comments on the fiero means nothing else needs saying. HOWEVER MATT, in a turd like that on a corner, keep the throttle consistent, you cannot chop the gas and not expect a rear/mid engine car to keep going straight. Steady throttle my man, play some grandtorismo 2. Drive the 911 in the cones, all you ever need to know. Ever.

  3. Cool car and video, but honestly why doesn't he do these videos on a track instead of driving like he is on a racetrack while on public open roads. How has license not been revoked?
