Awesome Hot Wheels Review: 575 HP Porsche 996 Turbo X50 – (One Take)

The Porsche 996 has sustained a long reputation for reliable speed, and with the recent spike in 80’s Porsche Turbo’s, it now has a new reputation: the cheapest Porsche Turbo you can buy. Nyx bought this one in San Diego the day before the shoot with plans to drive it all the way home to Virginia, but she decided to swing through LA to let me have a spin first!

  1. Great video. 9:00 Matt's right. Coming from my e90 M3 which has a ton of initial bite, the 996 turbo brakes scare the crap out of you because you have to really dig for them

  2. Women have two X chromosomes. Men have one X and one Y chromosome. It’s not opinion, it is scientific fact. It doesn’t matter how you “feel”. Most of you snowflakes on here are tripping over yourselves to be the most PC. It’s not hard, it’s science.

  3. What a cool car and owner she really knows her stuff, I like the look of the headlights too!!!!!,ignorance keeps the price low hence a 996 will be my first Porsche ,great review matt cheers

  4. How car nerdy a woman can be? But I like her, cool gal. Good build quality, that's a 150k € car, it better should have a great quality. And bwt, all Porsche owners I know, threat their cars very well and they are brought to Porsche centers for most of the repairs, no matter the costs. And they getting driven, unlike Lambo's and Ferrari's.

  5. Hi Nyx (and Matt), Yours is an '03 X50? I didn't see the ceramic brakes… Ours is an '04 X50 Cab and it does have the PCCB. I think it was an option on top of the X50, but you couldn't get it without the X50… Does that sound right? Yours is the first I've seen that didn't have PCCB. But, honestly I haven't seen that many X50s… I know this shoot was a while ago, but are you still loving the car? Ours is bone stock so 450/457 ish. Enjoy your car and thanks to you and Matt for the great video! Franny
