  2. Considering this is from the Automobile Ponzi schemer himself and someone who tunes cars to the point of implosion for the sole purpose of breaking records, it means nothing.  Hennessey is a marketing fraud and nothing more.  His cars are exceedingly unreliable and made up of whatever parts are lying around on given day (many from customers parts).  He has been sued countless times and had to reorganize his ponzi scheme… "business" countless times.  When his shady business practices catch up to him and he needs more "positive" press, he simply tries to break a speed record.  The problem is he does this unlike any reputable tuner would.  He will install an auto tranny in a manual only car or take several engines with him and tune them so hot that many won't even last a run down the track… until that record is broken.  But that stuff doesn't make it into the record book.  Shouldn't it?  What point is a "record" if it takes several engines to break the record?  What good is a car if it can't be driven on the street?  What good is a car if its so unreliable you are afraid to drive it?  Welcome to Hennsssey Motorsports.  It's all marketing people.

  3. number 1, if you weren't sure they use a Lotus body to make this… and second of all this is a tuned car using aftermarket parts and in shop made parts, to call this a full "american car" would be insane, also go ahead and put a camaro next to a Porsche on a track, i guarantee you that on the first corner of any track that rear end of the power heavy, suspension obsolete camaro is going to spin right out

  4. This car would beat the shit out of a LaFerrari, Agera R, Porsche 918, McLaren P1….whatever you want to compare it to, it would destroy it on the straight and on a track. This "American cars can't turn" shit is getting old. As it now stands, MUSTANGS AND CAMAROS are faster than Porsche 911 Carrera S (at least last-gen 911). $45,000 Muscle cars are beating up on $70,000+ Euro cars. Corvette ZR1 and SRT Viper are faster than anything under $500,000. Get over your hate, kid. It's old.
