  1. You can shim the shifter joint where it connects to the transmission shift rod. I got some old feeler gauges, found the best size and trimmed it. Slide the joint back on, hammer the pin back in, and enjoy the tightened up shifter mechanism.

  2. Wants a reliable build yet she's running UEL's on a aftermarket turbo…..
    She's gonna eat piston rings on pistons 2 and 4 if she doesn't switch to EL's, the temps on that side of engine are probably dangerously high.
    Also hope she has a high quality aftermarket oil cooler…
    Plus the power and torque gains from EL's on top of a far more refined and broad power band it's a no-brainer.
