Awesome Hot Wheels Review: The Cobra-Blown, Lexus V8 Swapped “No Style” ’75 Corolla

Mark Still is a man of limited sports car experience, but is long on fabrication skill. So when he decided he wanted to build a hillclimbing monster, he started with what he was into: old Corollas. Now, his 1975 Coupe has the V8 and subframe from a Lexus SC400, an Eaton M112 Supercharger from a Mustang Cobra, a T56 6-speed gearbox, and everything else is completely custom. We love it.

  1. Awesome. I like it a lot. Tons of character and uniqueness. Definitely wouldn't mind a follow up with no headers or something a little more "normal", just for kicks.

  2. Fuck what these haters say that thing sounds awesome, its unique as fuck, I would drive up to any haters house and rev that shit at random hours of the night. Prolly end up in jail tho lol. Amazing build anyways, 4000+ hours wow!

  3. Jeeze everybody drives that road. I'm not from California and I recognize it. Vehicle virgin's, jay Leno, a couple more I can't remember right now

  4. A lot of people talking shit on here. Obviously have no appreciation for the amount of work he put into this thing. This car is the true embodiment of automotive enthusiasts. It’s beautiful and sounds raw. Great work

  5. That Lexus badge on the supercharger and the stance, holy shit it just looks so mean. It wants to kill people with its eyes. And the sound of those downshifts. What a cool car.
