  2. I don't like the front look, precisely the headlight, I would prefer look of model from 2009 until this change, or they should come with some look like audi tt got. Rear side is nice renovation, something that is original and perhaps not step back compare previous generation. Not to be that for me weird headlights I would like the car a I believe car can provide a lot of fun without having massive supersport car power.

  3. After test driving manual transmissions in Mazda mx-5 club and touring, Fiat 124 Abarth
and Lusso, Porsche Cayman, Nissan 370Z, Toyota 86, Mustang V8, Camaro 4 turbo, Camaro V6, Camaro V8, Corvette, I purchased a 2017 Corvette. The Mazda mx-5 manual transmission is unreliable (go to Mazda website for TSB on mazda mx-5).
I bought a red 2017 Corvette 1LT manual transmission with performance exhaust, black
wheels, red calipers, red seats, carbon badge package.

  4. I love these cars. I used to race a 1990 miata. Tremendous fun.
I do agree that a microfiber interior should be standard. leather is the past.

  5. I like Thomas, always very competent and passionate about cars in general. This was a good review, I really love this car and it was cool to see it in its little details. Wish I could buy one!
I was reading the other day that many people prefers the 16" inch wheels compared to the 17" inch. What do you think Thomas, have you had the chance to try both?

  6. Thank you Thomas, for your detailed reviews. They give a sense of what the cars you test are really like. Did you spend any time driving the car with the top up? I am curious as I live in New City and if I get the Miata, I would spend some days driving with the top up. How is the outward visibility driving it that way?

  7. Thomas, due to your reviews on this car and the Passat GTE, I bought both of them! The Miata for my wife and the GTE for myself as a more sensible family car. I hope I can borrow my wifes car once in a while… Your reviews are top notch!

  8. I'm curious. What is it about leather that you don't like? You commented that it is unfortunate that the cloth seats are only available on the lower model MX5. You made similar comments in your review of the 718 Boxter S, stating that the alcantara seat covering is available as an option and, in your mind, more desirable than the leather. Though I would prefer cloth over vinyl, I find leather to be the most comfortable.
