  1. Come on, its just a normal TSI with a GTI badge and some other fabric on the seats.
It are not even sport seats?! What a bullshit car.
Does it even have disc brakes in the rear?
    From 20.000€ for 115 hp, ridiculous .

  2. I've owned a Seat Mii FR-Line for over a year now and I love it but the only thing that lets it down is its lack of power when you need it so this VW Up! GTI should be perfect for me. I'll definitely be getting in contact with my local VW dealership when it starts being delivered to them.

  3. Nice but the interior is more Mk1 Golf Driver than GTI. Let's hope they take the seats out of the show UP GT by the time these get to the showroom, and lose some of the weight like beats and electric windows, it's meant to be a GTI not a Carat.

  4. Excellent – it's a very good illustration of how cars have gotten bigger. The Up makes a lot of sense here in England, particularly for parking on street.

  5. The whole concept of the VW UP! has been destroyed with the changes made in the Mk2.
It was a basic low cost city car but has now been gentrified, made slower because of gear ratio changes, lost its dedicated sat nav module in place of a cradle for your phone and made too expensive for the market it serves.

  6. It had to be half the price and half the ugliness before I would even consider. One of the ugliest car ever made and gti doesn't help here.
Btw – golf I is much better looking then this product. Someone said that vw and other German cars are stuck in terms of look and tech. I agree – all look the same and don't even try to do something new. It is sad.

  7. they should put 1.4 tsi 150hp into it or at least 1.2… ofc for daily driving it looks great but engine is too weak for GTI name, i am disappointed

  8. They seem to be asking a big premium for what does not seem to offer a lot more over a 90ps High Up, some proper sports seats like the original GTI for example? Rather than just check cloth.
